Carbide endmills for Stainless Steel and Superalloys

As a specialist in cutting tools and in line with the company's strategy of gradually introducing high value-added products aimed at the most demanding production industry, HEPYC's R & D & i department has designed and developed for its new 2020 Catalog a series of novelties in the chapter of Hard Metal Mills.

The 3194 endmill combines different parameters resulting in a unique geometry for machining any type of stainless steel and high temperature resistant alloys, such as titanium and nickel alloys, with maximum productivity.

At the level of detail, the main characteristics are:

• 4 grooves with 40º-42º variable helix that allows maximum stability to avoid vibrations as well as an optimal surface finish.

• Very tight tolerances on cut and shank for greater precision.

• AlCr coating resistant to higher temperatures to work optimally stainless steels, titanium alloys and nickel.

• 45º chamfered edges to strengthen the cutting edge of the cutter, increase its useful life, while improving the adhesion of the surface coating.
