Solid carbaide thread mills

We incorporate in this 2022-2024 catalogue the thread milling tools by interpolation. With this tool, threading and deburring is carried out in a single operation on very hard materials.
They are milling cutters made of Solid Carbide (HM-MD) and with a multilayer coating of TiAlCN (Tinatio-Aluminum Carbonitride) that allows it to reach maxi  mum temperatures of 500ºC, with a Vickers hardness (HV) of 3,800, a coefficient of friction of 0.4. They are manufactured with a 15º geometry, a characteristic that gives them a lower probability of breakage during the machining process itself.
These interpolation thread milling tools are suitable for threading practically all types of materials, although they are ideal for materials above 50 HRC.

We can summarize the advantages of using this type of tool in 3 points:

• Threading in difficult-to-machine materials (up to HRC 65)
• Flexible tool, same thread mill for:
  • Left and right-hand thread
  • Different diameters, if the pitch is the same
  • Blind and through holes
  • Suitable for different profiles: W, BSPT, PG, NPT, NPTF and NPSF
• Threading and deburring in a single operation (ThreadBurr)
