The Step Point drill from HEPYC Manufacturing Cutting Tool Experts has been developed to improve drilling performance from the very first contact with the workpiece, delivering smoother, more stable and more accurate drilling.

Its stepped point geometry provides precise self-centring without the need for pre-spotting, while the progressive cutting action reduces cutting pressure and limits vibration during entry. The result is not only improved hole accuracy, but also longer tool life thanks to reduced cutting-edge wear.

The 30° helix design ensures efficient chip evacuation, helping to prevent clogging and reduce heat build-up during operation. In addition, the three-flat shank provides secure torque transmission, particularly in handheld applications.
