HEPYC and IDK Euskotren: Presentation of two new players

At HEPYC, we are excited to announce the arrival of two rising stars in women’s basketball, Niyah Becker and Nastja Claessens, who are joining IDK Euskotren for the 2024-25 season. With these new signings, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting Club Deportivo Ibaeta, a leading name in basketball in San Sebastián.

Niyah Becker, a Canadian player with a solid university career at Utah and Wake Forest, stands out for her versatility and ability to impact both ends of the court. According to her teammate Nastja Claessens, Becker is "an incredibly smart player on the court, someone you can always count on for defense and a good shooter."

On the other hand, Nastja Claessens, a Belgian native and a recent WNBA draft pick by the Washington Mystics, has proven to be a key player for her previous team, bringing energy and precision. Becker describes Claessens as "a great three-point shooter who makes her defender run a lot."
