Carbide endmills for material with a hardness up to 60HRC

As a specialist in cutting tools and in line with the company's strategy of gradually introducing high value-added products aimed at the most demanding production industry in its range, HEPYC's R & D & i department has designed and developed for its new Catalogue 2020 a series of novelties in the chapter of Hard Metal Mills.

In this case, it is Ref. 3192 with a variable helix to work steels up to 60HRC. The main features are:

• 35º-38º variable helix that allows maximum stability to avoid vibrations as well as an optimal surface finish in any type of milling.

• AlCrN coating resistant to higher temperatures to work materials of very high hardness (up to 60 HRc) at high speeds.

• 45º chamfered edges to strengthen the cutting edge of the cutter, increase its useful life, while improving the adhesion of the surface coating

• Relief between cutting diameter and shank for use in trochoidal milling.

• The range is in stock from Ø3 to Ø20 mm.
